CORONAVIRUS MEASURES Updated
DUE TO MEASURES INTRODUCED BY HEALTHCARE AUTHORITIES LIMITING ATTENDANCE AT PUBLIC INDOOR GATHERINGS TO 100 PEOPLE:
Saturday evening and Sunday Masses will be suspended at this time.
(Masses are not open to the public and we will celebrate Mass behind closed doors at 6:30pm on Saturday and at 10:00am and 12:00noon on Sunday. There will be NO CONGREGATION as this is for webcam broadcast. Mass in Balscadden is suspended until further notice. The Church will reopen immediately after the celebration of these Sunday Masses for people to come in to pray.)
Weekday Masses will continue for now under these conditions:
The Church will be open for Weekday Masses for now provided that the Congregation remains under 100, but this could change.
Seats have been marked with white X`s to practice social distancing within the Church so please sit with the X in front of you. This includes couples or families who should not sit together.
At Holy Communion we request that people come to the Altar via the centre aisle only and return back to your seat by the side aisle at the same time observing social distancing of 1 - 2 meters apart.
Because Sunday Masses have no congregation we would ask you to drop your Planned Giving into the box at the back of the Church or into the letterbox at the Parish Office. If you would like to contribute to the First and Share Collections please place your donations into the baskets at the front of the Altar. Thank you for your continued support in these difficult times.
IN THE EVENT OF A FUNERAL
Please give priority to the family and do not attend as the limit remains at 100.
PRIVATE PRAYER AND ADORATION
The Church will be open as normal for daily prayer and Exposition on Fridays. Lots of prayer leaflets are available. Please take them home. Mass leaflets and the Parish Newsletter are available to take home each week.
