Reconciliation
One of the seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church is the Sacrament of Reconciliation, commonly referred to as “Confession”. This Sacrament relates to God’s merciful love and our faith in God who welcomes the repentant sinner.
We celebrate this Sacrament in our Church with individual Confession on Saturday mornings at the 10am Mass. On the first Saturday of each month, we celebrate a communal Service of Reconciliation, again at 10am . Our approach to the Sacrament is that of Jesus – that all are welcome to receive the loving mercy of God.
You are, of course, welcome to approach any of the priests of the Parish to receive the Sacrament at times other than those listed.
In Holy Week and in the run-up to Christmas, we have a Communal Reconciliation Service.
